‘The Big Read Bus’ | Library Bus Project
In terms of progress, they are 99% complete! The heating/air condition unit went in over the Christmas break, all the shelving units have been fully fitted, the logo board with all the different sponsors has been put up and the banner with the name of the bus
‘The Big Read Bus’,
is going up next week.
Their pupils are loving the library bus project and they are seeing an improvement in the whole school reading data. This is fantastic news as that is the reason why the project was undertaken in the first place!
– Launch date will be in May –
An Author will be doing a whole school assembly /workshops for the pupils during the day,
as well as officially open the library bus!
The author just has to confirm the date and then we will announce who he is – whoops we have just made it easier to guess who that might be.
