Ann Edwards C of E Primary School, South Cerney - Library Bus Project Update!

The school has been successful in gaining two grant applications, one with The ministry of Defence and one with Tesco and their ‘BAGS of HELP’ Community Grant Scheme

Now they need your shopping help…

Drop your tokens in the Bus Pod

The Library Bus Project will be included in the Tesco Scheme between Friday 1st March and Tuesday 30th April in the following stores:

  • Tesco Extra – Cirencester (GL7 1NP)
  • Tesco Superstore – Cirencester (GL7 1HW)
  • Tesco Express – Chesterton (GL7 1XE)

When you go into Tesco and purchase any item, you should be given a red or blue token. As you exit the store, you will see a stand where you will need to drop the token into 1 of 3 different pods. Each pod is a local community project and the pod with the most amount of tokens in at the end of April, is the winner. The winning project will receive £4k, 2nd will receive £2k and 3rd will receive £1k.

Please can you encourage your employees, colleagues, friends and family to participate by dropping as many tokens as possible into the Library Bus pod when the scheme starts next Friday – it would be great if they could win!

They are now looking at purchasing the bus to enable work to start on decommissioning and refurbishment, we will keep you posted on their progress.
