Advancing the Transition

 

Mosaic Tasks Team, Johnny Mitchell and Alan Howard (Directors of Mosaic Tasks) will be guest speakers during the interactive sessions at the event later this month.  Their session is on the Human & Organisational Performance (HOP) model.  They will be covering trust, just culture, as well as understanding the influence of context on behaviour, collaborate learning etc. Furthermore, they will be introducing Occupational Personality Tasks (OPT’S) in contrast to questionnaires. 

AMCHAM Trinidad & Tobago has long championed the promotion of Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) excellence to their membership and the wider public.  Now in its 23rd year, they continue to do so through the annual HSSE Conference & Exhibition. Johnny Mitchell

Quest Assessments Ltd

Johnny is an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (BPS), and member the BPS’s Division of Occupational Psychology. He is a Registered Occupational Psychologist with the UK’s Health Care Professions Council. He is currently director of two companies (Caspian Psychology and Quest Assessments Ltd), both of which develop tools/products based on a unique combination of games, IT and psychology.

Introducing Occupational Personality Tasks (OPT's)

Mosaic Tasks is a unique tool that measures the big 5 personality traits through the completion of a set of online tasks or Occupational Personality Tasks (OPT’s).  Caspian Psychology is a company that develop cloud-based team games.  These enable participants to have a unique and effective learning experience, primarily in the Human Factors/Safety domain.  Johnny previously worked for 11 years as a Human Factors (HF) consultant delivering projects in over 30 countries. As a result, topics experienced included things such as culture change, incident investigations and managing human error. Similarly assessment through 360 feedback and Situational Judgement Tests.

Alan Howard

Quest Assessments Ltd

Alan is an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (BPS), and member of the BPS’s Division of Occupational Psychology. He is a Chartered Psychologist and a Registered Occupational Psychologist with the UK’s Health Care Professions Council.  Alan is currently director of Quest assessments Ltd, developer of Mosaic Tasks.

Introducing Occupational Personality Tasks (OPT's)

He has 27 years’ experience as an occupational psychologist which includes managing and delivering large consultancy projects in 6 continents. He is a former Vice President of Assessment & Development at Dubai International Airport and Director of Assessment & Development Centres at IHS Dubai. Alan has co-authored 3 situational judgement tests which are published worldwide by SHL.  As a result, they have been completed by participants from over 100 countries. Most importantly, for this event Alan has extensive experience of carrying out projects in safety-critical environments. Consequently, his experience includes Nuclear Energy, Heavy Engineering and the Police & Prisons.

This is a must attend event for persons with an interest in or responsibility for Occupational Safety and Health, likewise Security similarly Environmental & Disaster Management. Therefore, anyone in the region who finds this subject of interest and wishes to gain HSSE ideas then this event simply “makes good business sense”.
