The Belbin Individual Team Role report identifies behavioural strengths and weaknesses in the workplace and should be used to support the individual's personal development and relationships within a team.
The report highlights the individual's favoured role within a team. Understanding where they fit within the team will help individuals to adapt their behaviour to achieve the best result. This has benefits - not just for the individual - but also for the team and the business.
Some of the nine different roles identified include: Plant, Implementer, Shaper, Coordinator, Team worker and Completer-Finisher.
We do NOT recommend that it is used to support selection. This report should be used to facilitate development and team building for Junior managers and Supervisors.
