Microsoft Office Word is part of the most popular suite of desktop programs used across the world, both at home and in the office.  Many businesses use this word processing tool to create and manipulate documents.  Using this programme is a key skill for most secretarial and administrative staff.

Word allows users to create basic letters, use desk-top publishing functions and even more complex features such as creating dynamic contents pages.  MS Word is a highly versatile tool that most administrative and secretarial staff will come into contact with in the course of their work.

Microsoft Office Word is available as four separate tests looking at four key areas:

  1. General Understanding
  2. Formatting
  3. Tables and Illustrations
  4. Document Referencing

Lasting only 15 minutes, these online tests are ideally used in conjunction with other MS Office tests such as Excel .  A reduced rate of £15 + VAT per additional test is charged for candidates completing more than one of these tests.

Reports provide a short, graphical representation of candidate performance. The report highlights areas where the individual has demonstrated a good understanding and where there is room for improvement.
