The Watson Glaser Critical Thinking Appraisal - Development Report, enhances an individual's understanding of their critical thinking ability to facilitate their personal development.  It tests 3 main areas to look at judgement and problem solving ability:

  1. Recognising Assumptions
  2. Evaluating Arguments
  3. Drawing Conclusions

The Critical Thinking Appraisal is a timed ability test that measures an individuals ability to efficiently and effectively evaluate information and make good decisions.

The development report then takes a candid look at individuals critical thinking skills and links these to important workplace competencies.  The test identifies development priorities and creates a development plan for career advancement.

This report is designed for the development of Supervisors or Junior Managers. The latest online version of the test is used - WG-III.  A range of comparison groups (norms) for specific business areas are available to fine tune the results eg Accountancy, HR, IT, Marketing and Legal to name but a few.
