SHL Verify Interactive Deductive Reasoning Test is an assessment used for job candidates applying to midlevel positions that require deductive reasoning ability. It requires a candidate to use their problem solving and reasoning skills, by asking them to evaluate arguments, analyse scenarios, and draw logical conclusions (the correspondent assessment for Verbal Reasoning). It is used for graduate to managerial & professional job level and it is not suited for entry-level roles.
Using the latest online technology, this assessment offers an interactive, business-relevant approach to predict workplace performance using engaging, activity-based assessment design that can be deployed on any device type, including mobile phones.

Alternatively, we do have a joint Verbal and Numerical Business Reasoning Test - The test looks at the ability of the candidate to accurately assimilate and correctly understand the written business information. It includes understanding business numerical information and being able to do the correct calculations to work out answers. But it also includes the ability to assimilate non-numerical business data as well, such as identifying relationships and understanding the real meaning of data. People at work deal with business information as a whole, so for example, they do not necessarily tackle a numerical problem in isolation. The SHL Verify Interactive Deductive Reasoning Test is designed to measure a candidate’s ability to make correct decisions or inferences from numerical or statistical data, the numerical reasoning test is intended to measure the ability to work with numerical data in a realistic workplace context, and is relevant for assessment at most job levels.
Using the latest online technology, this is an adaptive test for use at a all but entry level jobs.
The full cognitive ability assessment should be completed within approximately 18 minutes.
