This Distance Learning psychometric training course is available to complete from anywhere in the world. Providing you with the BPS globally recognised qualifications in Test Use. Quest Partnership work with the BPS & EFPA as registered psychometric training providers.
Learn how to use occupational Ability tests and Personality profiling questionnaires for selection and development. Most importantly, learn how to administer, interpret and give feedback on psychometric tests and assessments effectively. As a result, gain a deeper understanding of the technical concepts of psychometrics while learning how to use them both legally and ethically.
Psychometric Training Results
By the end of the course, you will be fully skilled in occupational testing and equipped to deliver psychometric testing and assessment, including the use of the Identity® Personality Profiling Questionnaire and its suite of expert reports. This Test User Occupational overseas qualification allows you to then purchase and use psychometric tests and assessments that would otherwise not be available to you. These qualifications remain the ‘gold standard’ for workplace psychometric test user training.
The course is designed to ensure success in gaining the BPS Certificates of Competence in Occupational Testing: Test User Ability (TUA) & Test User Personality (TUP) [formerly Level A and B]. In addition, you will be eligible to receive the European Federation of Psychologists’ Associations (EFPA) Euro (Level 2) Test User Certificates in Psychometric Tests for Work & Organisational Assessment.

Our Online Occupational Test User Training courses are predominantly aimed at student wishing to work within HR, Personnel, Employment Agencies & Consultants offering psychometric assessments such as: HR Professionals, Recruitment Specialists, Talent Management Experts, Learning & Development Coaches, Occupational Development Coaches and Training Consultants.
This Test User Occupational Student Overseas Training course is the same qualification as the UK Student Training Course. However, unlike other training providers we offer this qualification to overseas clients. The format allows individuals to complete the course at their convenience anywhere in the world, the practical assessments are conducted via Zoom.
- Tutor Support Availability our Tutor-led support and live training assistance are available Monday to Thursday 09:00 – 17:00 GMT only. Tutor support is not provided on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, or UK public holidays.
Clients located in different time zones are responsible for ensuring scheduled training and support sessions fall within our stated availability.
*This course is available to Students completing Qualifications relevant to the use of Occupational Psychometric Testing or Graduates that have already completed their course within 12 months of applying. To be eligible for this discounted training we will require that you confirm your student/graduate status.
What's Covered
Our psychologists have developed this course based on the competency framework outlined by the British Psychological Society (BPS). It covers all elements of their Test User standard, including:
- Assistant Test User: Learn about what tests measure and how to administer them in an objective & standardised manner.
- Occupational, Ability: Learn about how tests work and why they are reliable and valid. You will also learn how to select the correct tool for the role and give ability test feedback and make interpretations.
- Occupational, Personality: Learn about what personality is and how we apply it to occupational settings. Explore the ‘identity’ questionnaire, its applications and its scales. Learn how to give useful, objective feedback for assessment and development.
The BPS occupational testing qualifications have also been accredited by EFPA as together meeting the requirements for the award of the Level 2 Euro Test User Certificate.

- Course Certificate recognised by BPS registered Test Providers.
- Provides eligibility for both the BPS Certificate of Competence in Occupational Testing and the Level 2 Euro Test User Certificate. As a result you can also apply for entry onto the Register of Qualifications in Test Use (RQTU).
- Includes a CPD Award of 35 hours.
Furthermore, our psychologists will provide ongoing support. This helps to ensure that Test Users continue to deliver according to current best practice.
