This Senior Secretarial Recruitment Solution is to support the selection of Personal Assistants (PA), Executive Assistants and Senior Secretarial Staff, suitable for any business sector. It comprises leading ability tests and a psychometric personality assessment.

This Senior Role - Secretarial Recruitment Package includes: Three ability tests; Joint Verbal & Numerical Business Reasoning Test, Copy Typing and the Identity® Personality Questionnaire providing a fully interpreted interview report and complimentary candidate feedback report.

Business Reasoning Test [test flyer] - assessing the ability to fully understand business information, questions will include assessing elements of deductive and inductive thinking skills. This is a joint verbal and numerical adaptive test with 24 weighted questions, it is not speeded. Typically, completion takes about 35 minutes. Providing total test score, business verbal test score & business numerical test score.

Online ISV Copy Typing Test - Test individuals with a quick snapshot or comprehensive copy typing assessment. Recruiters can select from either basic or advanced copy typing test to analyse the candidate’s talent for producing exact content. This copy typing skills tests measure both speed and accuracy. (industry specific legal and medical copy typing tests available) 

Identity®  Personality Questionnaire Interview Report, this Occupational Personality Questionnaire provides an interview guide for employment screening when recruiting.  This personality assessment report includes suggested questions to probe more deeply at interview. A complimentary Candidate Feedback Report is also provided for unsuccessful candidates.

Identity® Personality Questionnaire – Comprehensive Interview Report 

At senior level an individual’s personality shapes their competence at work. Therefore, this is a competence-based Interview Report i.e. it provides areas to probe and also provides relevant interview questions.  As this report is not suitable to be passed to candidates, you are also provided with a complimentary Candidate Feedback Report which can be provided to candidates after selection decisions have been made so that they receive useful feedback for their personal development.  A sample report is available below.

Business Reasoning Test – [Test Information Leaflet]

The report first presents the candidates overall test performance results for business reasoning. This is total test score and therefore covers verbal, numerical, and elements of inductive and deductive reasoning. 

Then it goes on to provide information around the two key areas:

  1. Business Verbal Data: How well the candidate has understood the business written information. This is often referred to as verbal critical reasoning. It looks at the ability of the candidate to accurately assimilate and correctly understand the written business information.
  2. Business Numerical Data: How well the candidate has understood the business data. This is often referred to as numerical critical reasoning. It includes understanding business numerical information and being able to do the correct calculations to work out answers. But it also includes the ability to assimilate non-numerical business data as well, such as identifying relationships and understanding the real meaning of data.

The overall Business Reasoning ability score is based on 24 adaptive questions that have weighted scoring. Typically taking up to 35 minutes to complete.

ISV Copy Typing Test

This assessment is timed and designed to measure speed and accuracy in typing. This assessment allows the 5 minutes to type passages into a simulated word processing document. This assessment measures the ability to copy information from one screen and then key it into a different screen.
